Career Summary
Bob Hickman has worked in Commercial Real Estate since 1980. He joined the new offices of CBRE, (then
Coldwell Banker) as an office specialist. During those years, he was involved with all aspects of the business;
the early years were primarily in leasing. This evolved into developing primarily office buildings large and
small for various companies. He was also involved in designing and developing large land tracts for
commercial uses.

• Development of Commerce Center office building. Involved Tax Increment Financing as well as
designing a public space to meet previous commitments by MDHA.
• Responsible for the marketing and sales of the excess land around the arena (now the Sommet
Center).
